IM&T Operations Engineer


Band 6 - £31,365 - £37,890 - Full Time / Permanent

The IM&T Directorate is looking for a flexible, hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join the IM&T Infrastructure Team working at both Royal Stoke and County Hospital. We are seeking a candidate who have the desire to develop and move technology forwards and have a pragmatic approach to sharing of ideas across the team giving the benefits of design, risk mitigation and implementation across the organisation.

Post holder will be a source of knowledge on all matters relating to server, storage and network security infrastructure. Including but not limited to the management of virtualized environments, SANs, Firewalls, Active Directory and server migrations.

Post holder will be required to design, deliver and review training content and research new technology to support the delivery of core infrastructure.

Post holder is also expected to form part of an out of hours on-call rota in which you maybe required to travel to site.

Requirement for all team members to rotate between Royal Stoke and County Hospital on a regular basis.

Excellent communication skills, having a flexible approach is essential, as is the need to be self-motivated and ability to prioritise tasks and objectives to this role, along with excellent organisational skills.
