Main duties of the job

As part of the FM Services Team, the FM Services Night Supervisor will be responsible for managing the daily delivery of an efficient and effective customer focussed quality service, appropriately and on time. The scope of the service being, but not limited to Cleaning, Residencies and Catering. Liaise with, and maintain business relationships with representatives of management within the Trust and other agencies as requested.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The post holder will have the ability to plan, act and monitor their own and their teams performance with guidance and support from the FM Services Support Manager and FM Services Manager to meet the demands of the service.

The individual will be adaptable, self motivated and one who can set clearly defined, achievable, individual team and operational goals and any other duties to complete the tasks a required by the Trust

  • Working towards a Facilities or Management Certificate
Desirable criteria
  • NVQ in Customer Care and Infection Control

  • Working towards a Facilities or Management Certificate
  • Experience and knowledge of the Facilities operational services ran by the Trust
  • Ability to follow instruction and provide information, training, process and procedures to other Facilities staff
Desirable criteria
  • NVQ in Customer Care and Infection Control
  • Knowledge and understanding of the relevant Trust Policies & Procedures relating to Facilities Department
  • To have an understanding of H&S, COSHH and Risk Assessments
