ARTU is a 27 bedded ground breaking new unit, caring for acute patients stepping down from intensive care, or straight from theatres or A&E, requiring support to achieve their maximum potential for physical, cognitive, social and psychological function. ARTU is one of the first 'hyper-acute specialised rehabilitation" units to be developed within a Major Trauma centre. The ward based multidisciplinary team will care for patients requiring specialised rehabilitation following severe head trauma, complex spinal injuries, polytrauma and other acquired brain injury.)

We have a very exciting opportunity for a Band 8a Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our ANP team.

The successful applicant will be a senior nurse already working in a leadership role ideally with experience of working with Trauma or Neurosurgical patients in an acute hospital setting/Critical Care environment. The ANP team take the lead for the daily review and management of the patients on the ward with multi-disciplinary working with medical and therapy teams from a variety of specialties.
