We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered healthcare professional to join the Research and Innovation Directorate at University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity for a registered healthcare professional to further develop skills within research, contributing to improving and changing the future care of patients.
We are seeking to recruit an experienced and confident professional who enjoys a challenge and would welcome the opportunity to develop research. You will provide specialist skills and knowledge to support the running of clinical research on a wide range of clinical trials, both commercial and non-commercial. You will work within the multi-disciplinary team, ensuring a smooth delivery of care to patients entered into clinical trials. You need to be an excellent team player, have good communication skills, excellent time management skills and attention to detail is a must.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be part of the Research Delivery Team which involves recruiting patient participants into clinical trials, carrying out trial activity in line with the ethically approved protocol and in accordance with legislation. You will be responsible for supporting the Research Team in meeting its responsibilities for continuing and raising recruitment into a wide range of NIHR portfolio studies, including commercial and non-commercial studies.

Education and Qualfications
- Healthcare professional registration
- GCP certificate
- Mentorship Qualification
- Minimum 6 months working in research
- Management/Leadership experience
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
