The University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM) is a large acute teaching hospital with sites located at Royal Stoke University Hospital, Stoke-on-Trent, and County Hospital, Stafford.

The Trust has a substantial capital programme over the next two years which you will be directly involved with.

The Capital Projects Team is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and qualified building, engineering, design specialist who will lead an in-house team of project managers to deliver a wide portfolio of Capital Projects.

You require excellent communication skills to provide detailed professional and technical advice to others and in the development of your project management team. You will also assist in the preparation of strategies and business cases providing advice to a wide range of staff and clinical teams.  You will be familiar with the NHS capital investment Manual (CIM) and both P22 and competitive tendering processes, rigorously complying with Trust approved procurement/development methodologies.

You will also ensure robust project management processes are in place within your team to manage the diverse range of Capital Projects that are undertaken each year at the Trust, many of which will be delivered via the P22 framework.
