Job overview

An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and committed midwife to join the maternity team in Antenatal Clinic at Royal Stoke University Hospital.

Antenatal clinic is a busy, fast paced environment. There are a number of midwife led clinics that run and the team also works collaboratively alongside a number of multidisciplinary specialties.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an experienced midwife who is passionate about delivering high quality, safe care to women in the antenatal clinic setting. You will show initiative and a have a keen interest in improving services and enhancing the care and experience for women and families who use antenatal clinic



We have permanent contracts for enthusiastic midwives to provide antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.

There is also the opportunity for involvement in Continuity of Carer models that are currently being implemented.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Within the antenatal clinic setting the midwives play an integral part in facilitating midwife scan reviews, Anti D clinics, booking history clinics, birth choices clinics and lifestyle clinics. You will need to be versatile and have excellent communication skills. Team working is an essential part of the role.
