An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Directorate Support Secretary within the Outpatients Directorate at The University Hospitals North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM) based at The Royal Stoke site.
Main duties of the job
The successful post holder will work with the Outpatients Management Team providing support, The job is very varied and there are many duties will include organising meetings, typing reports, completing orders i.e stationary and uniforms etc, completing the departments newsletter, stock taking, receiving phone calls. This is an ideal post for someone with previous experience working in an office environment and good organisational skills. Please see job description for full duties.

- 5 GCSE’s or equivalent to include English and Maths at grade C or above or equivalent.
- OCR Stage III Word Processing or equivalent.
- Experienced in the use Microsoft Office software including electronic diary management
- Experience with working with a large team
Skills and Knowledge
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills and able to work to deadlines
- Excellent customer care skills including professional telephone manner
- Excellent team working skills including assisting and covering the work of other team members as appropriate
