Job overview

An Exciting opportunity has arisen for a substantive Band 6 PACU (recovery) Practitioner  .The Post holder requires 2 years' Post Registration experience with current recovery skills.

Main duties of the job

The vacancy is open to either an Operating Department Practitioner  or Registered Nurse .

We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic candidates with the ability to work well within a busy Acute environment  ,and who can deliver high quality patient care . The successful candidate will be expected to proactively and effectively coordinate  and manage the pacu areas in all areas.

The successful candidate will be expected to cover the 24 hour period with a range of shifts - Early, Late ,Long days ,Nights and on -calls .Staff will be required to work flexibly to cover the service requirements.
