The Acute Medicine directorate are looking for motivated, enthusiastic and innovative band 5 nurses to join our team. AMU/AMRAU is part of the Acute Medical team and we have a workforce model focused on providing safe and effective patient care, and leadership and development of the nursing team. You will be offered excellent training and support.
Main duties of the job
In this post you will be responsible for the initial assessment of patients, and providing an effective care pathway within AMU/AMRAU. We are committed to developing a culture in line with our values that improves quality and enhances the patient experience, and you will play a vital part in developing new ways of working to achieve this goal.
Candidates will be a first level registered nurse. You must be flexible to the demands of the service and be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication skills are essential for this post.
Full and part time hours, are available, 7 days including weekends and public holidays.

- Registered nurse on the professional register
- Recognised qualification in teaching and assessing
- Has experience as a student or registered nurse in an acute hospital setting
- Experience in undertaking dressings
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
