Additional information

Thank you for showing an interest in working for us.

At University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust we are on a journey of transformation and are just about to embark on an ‘Improving Together’ Programme which is all about Delivering Exceptional Care with Exceptional People.  It is a great time, therefore, to be joining our team to support the achievement of our ambitious vision.

I have held the Director role for four years and I am immensely proud of all that our Division has achieved and of the amazing staff that we employ.   We are an award winning team and a team that is recognised nationally for our achievements and held in high regard by our colleagues at the Trust.  We have been invited by NHSIE to publish many case studies of our work and we were invited by Cabinet Office to participate in their Supplier Relationship Management Programme, recognising the strengths of our partnership working with our PFI partners.

If you decide to apply, you will be joining us at an incredibly exciting time as our Division continues to explore ways in which we can further improve the environment and the services we provide for our patients, to allow our clinical teams to care for our patients without complication of environmental issues.   The Deputy Director will work closely with me, our Senior Team, my team and senior leaders across the Trust, to build on our success to date.

Informal chats or visits are welcome; please contact me via e-mail Lorraine.Whitehead@uhnm.nhs.uk.

Kind regards

Lorraine
