Band 6 Quality Nurse - County Hospital Ward 12 

Medical Division

An opportunity has arisen on Ward 12  at County hospital for a Band 6 Quality Nurse.  This opportunity will allow the successful candidate to develop both their clinical and leadership skills.

Ward 12 is a 28 bedded ward specialising in Respiratory Medicine and Palliative Care 

Main duties of the job


The Quality nurse will support the Ward Manager and Deputy Ward Manager with the implementation and development of care standards ensuring practice is evidence based. They will also lead on the implementation of education and development plans for all staff on the ward ensuring robust systems are in place to record and monitor performance against agreed targets.

Essential requirements:

  • RN with 2 years experience
  • Evidence of degree level study in health/nursing related studies
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to use own innitiative
  • Ability to work as part of a team
