Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrative apprentice to join the outpatient team at our Count Hospital Stafford site.  The successful candidate will provide flexible administrative support to all staff within the Outpatient Directorate, working closely with the Clinic Administrators and other teams to provide assistance as and when required. The successful candidate will work to help UHNM achieve it's KPI's and ensure that patients have a seamless pathway from receipt of referral.

Main duties of the job

  • To undertake clerical duties, this includes providing and receiving routine information requiring tact or persuasive skills. Communicates tactfully with patients and staff about appointments or any other queries deemed necessary.
  • The post holder will deal any appointment queries communicating factual routine information to patients, relatives (with consent) and external and internal bodies.
  • The post holder will assist in the utilisation of outpatient clinics
  • The post holder will support with any incoming calls
