Job overview

We have a new exciting opportunity within the Nurse Bank office for a Nurse Bank/ Pool Administrator to support with the booking and allocation of bank and agency staff within the Trust.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will need to have a good knowledge of IT Systems and will need to be able to show evidence of this.

The successful applicant must demonstrate experience working in a busy office environment along with excellent organisational skills, therefore being able to multitask and have a flexible and adaptable approach. It is essential that the successful applicant has the ability to prioritise workload in order to meet very tight deadlines in a pressured environment.

 The Bank Office is operates over a 7 day service so the applicant must be able to work some evenings and weekends.

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Two years experience in providing an administration service and following procedure
  • Experience and skills in using word, excel, power point, Microsoft outlook
Desirable criteria
  • Experienced computer operator, good keyboard skills showing accuracy
  • Basic understanding staff booking systems
  • Previous NHS experience

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • NVQ 2/3 in customer service or equivalent
  • 5 GCSE's A-C including Maths and English
  • office/admin/computer skills training or qualification
