Do you have an interest in traumatic injuries? Would you like to be involved in the unique combination of major trauma and rehabilitation care? Could you work alongside an innovative multidisciplinary team?

We have a very exciting opportunity  for a Band 6 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team

Main duties of the job

We can offer you a warm welcome to our major acute rehabilitation and trauma unit (ARTU).

The successful applicant will have good communication skills and should have at least 12 months experience of working in an acute hospital setting ideally within a trauma and orthopaedics setting. You will also have at least 12 months experience working in Band 6 role. We are looking for a committed team player who has high standards and is passionate about improving the patient experience. You will play a key role in supporting the Ward Manager and the Senior Staff Nursing team.

  • Registered Nurse on NMC Register
Desirable criteria
  • Mentorship or equivalent
